Soccerscope ("we", "us", "our") provides AI-generated football match insights inside the Telegram messenger. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this document short and human-readable.
1. Information we collect
When you interact with our Telegram bot or visit this website, we may collect:
- Telegram identifiers — your Telegram user ID, username (if any), language code and chat ID. These are provided automatically by Telegram when you message the bot.
- Conversation data — the queries you send to the bot (e.g. team or match names) and the responses we return. Used to generate answers and to improve the AI service.
- Aggregated usage analytics — anonymous counts such as "how many users asked about team X today". No personally identifying details are exposed in these aggregates.
- Marketing attribution data — if you arrived via an advertising link (for example a Facebook ad), we receive a non-personal campaign identifier so we can measure the effectiveness of that campaign.
- Website analytics — when you load this site, your browser sends standard request metadata (IP, user-agent, referrer). We use this only to monitor traffic and security.
2. How we use the information
- To answer your questions and deliver the AI insights you requested.
- To remember your language preference and previous interactions.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud and spam.
- To measure the performance of our marketing channels in aggregate.
- To improve our AI models, prompts and content quality.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with:
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, databases, content delivery) under standard data-processing agreements.
- AI model providers — your queries may be sent to third-party large-language-model APIs (such as OpenAI / Anthropic) strictly to generate the response. We do not allow them to train on your data where the provider supports an opt-out.
- Advertising platforms — only aggregated, hashed event data (such as conversion counts) is sent to platforms like Meta to optimize ad delivery. We do not share your raw Telegram messages with advertisers.
- Authorities — when required by valid legal process.
4. Data retention
We keep conversation data for up to 90 days for service quality and abuse monitoring. Aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics may be kept indefinitely. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Data Deletion).
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to certain types of processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.

6. Children
Soccerscope is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has interacted with us, please contact us and we will delete the data.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, access controls, least-privilege keys) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; we will notify affected users and regulators of any breach as required by law.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced inside the Telegram bot. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
